Professor Francisco Lacerda of Stockholm University in Sweden and professor Anders Eriksson of the University of Gothenburg have conducted empirical research that appears to debunk (yet again) the validity of “lie detector” tests. For years, law enforcement, security, military, and insurance agencies have used the results of lie detector tests as indisputable “fact” when it comes to making decisions about the truthfulness of an individual’s claims.
Now, Nemesysco Limited, has threatened the publisher Equinox Publishing with legal action in they publish the above mentioned study. Nemesysco is a major manufacturer of stress tests and lie detectors and has an obvious interest in the repression of this scientific study.
In the name of freedom of speech and to take a jab at what I have long felt was an unfair and bunk method of weeding out qualified candidates in the security and law enforcement industry, I have reposted the original study that has been silenced by Nemesysco. And to the gutless Equinox Publishing company, you should be ashamed to be in the print industry, especially for scholarly journals. By acquiescing to this blatant corporate ploy to continue the sale snake oil at the expense of the truth…you are truly pathetic.
