About Me
So you want to learn a little more about me hu? Well, I recently moved to Arizona from San Diego, CA where I lived pretty much my entire life. I liked the ocean and the landscape but didn’t really like the people or the inflated cost of living. I moved to Arizona to attend ASU as a PhD student in Public Administration. My desired research areas are IT in government with a focus on open-source software and governmental use of Internet surveillance technologies as a means of coercion and control.
I am a big Linux and Mac fan and have a good amount of experience in both. By day I am a web application developer specializing in PHP/MySQL (LAMP) development. In my spare time I enjoy programming, reading, writing, being outdoors, shooting (both firearms and archery…though I am much better at the former), competitive badminton, and running. I am also a volunteer badminton coach at Hamilton High.
